Estate Planning
Information and advice in relation to estate and tax mitigation not otherwise
provided for in the Will Plans can be provided at a cost of £150 - £750 inc VAT.
Creation of Tenancy in Common
As Joint Tenants, legally you have equal shares in the asset and when one of you
dies, the other inherits the deceased person’s share. However as Tenants in
Common, you can have unequal shares and when one of you dies your share is
passed on in accordance with your Will (or as the law says, if there is no Will).
Fees: £75 per property + VAT
Probate and Estate Administration
Probate can be a complex task and virtually every estate is different. Almost
certainly, what needs to be done on one estate will be different for another. Because of this we are unable to give an accurate breakdown of our probate fees but an hourly
rate of £160 + VAT plus up to 2 % of the value of the estate is charged in most cases.
An outline of our fees will be provided in advance of any work carried out.
Change of Name Deeds
If you wish to change your name, or your children's name following a change in family circumstances, JSP Solicitors can provide
you with the necessary documentation.
It is a straightforward procedure which no longer involves official registration, simply an unrelated adult to witness signing of the
documents.
